Violin

Starting violin at five, Gloria Yunwon Lee made her first solo debut at 11 with the Haywood Youth Orchestra in California. Since then she has performed at the Mirabelle Palace in Salzburg, Austria; Cremona, Italy; and across the United States. A native of Gainesville, Florida she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida receiving three bachelor degrees (B.M. in Violin Performance; B.A. in Music History and Literature; B.A. in Political Science), and thereafter completed her Master’s of Music at the University of Kentucky as a Teaching Assistant. Since the age of fourteen she has performed with professional orchestras including, the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Charleston Symphony Orchestra, and the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also shared the stage with international artists such as Joshua Bell, Lee Chin Siow, Alexandre Brussilovsky, Ransom Wilson, and others. Gloria has taught at New York University as an Adjunct Instructor from 2019-2020, and currently teaches violin and viola at Brooklyn Music School.
