Highly recognized for her melodious and mature performance, violinist JungWon Yoon is a one-of-a-kind violinist and educator interacting withaudience in a distinct level of musical empathy and delicacy. Ms. Yoon made her solo debut at the age of eleven performing Paganini’sConcerto in D with New Seoul Symphony Orchestra. Trained by her parents,both violin instructors, she developed her talent and dedication from her ageof five. After graduating with highest honor from Yewon Arts School, sheadvanced to pre-college division at the Juilliard School and consequentiallybecame the last disciple of the late legendary Dorothy Delay. During her extensive education experiences from prestigious conservatories,including the Juilliard School, Mannes School, and Manhattan School ofMusic, Ms. Yoon earned valuable learning opportunities from Catherine,Cho, Patinka Kopec, and Lucie Robert.She also took a part in several masterclasses given by masters such as JoelSmirnoff, Arnold Steinhardt, Aaron Soand, Pinchas Zukerman, DonaldWeilerstein, members of Emerson, American and Orion String Quartets. As a multi-faceted artist, she appeared in various programmes, such asCourchevel Music Alp, Texas Music Festival, Ottawa National Arts CentreYoung Artist Programme, Cassalmaggiore International Music Festival, andperformed at significant music halls in the States, Canada, Italy, France,Czech, and Korea. A dynamic violinist, Ms. Yoon continues to expand her horizon as amusician by appearing as a soloist and chamber musician. Currently, she ispursuing her Doctoral Music Degree at Rutgers University in the class ofTodd Phillips, and also passionately training young potentials andprofessionals as a chief director at New Jersey Music School.
